Vergine Wine

Cantine Mashio is a vineyard that began in 1973 and now produces the two biggest-selling wines in Italy. The wines produced by them come from grapes grown on the hills of Valdobbiadene, Italy. They are known to be fresh, light, and lively with their branding. Vergine is a new wine they are introducing to the American market. This wine bottle is designed for a Moscato D’Asti wine.

FRONT LABEL

The moscato grapes are harvested at the end of August and beginning of September, which is the Virgo Season. I chose the name Vergine because it is the Italian name for the Virgo. This Moscato has a hint of peach and strawberry in it, so the colors used are pink and orange in a gradient. To contrast these vibrant colors, I chose a light blue for the second smaller label. The hexagonal shape stands out from other wines on shelves with rectangular labels.

BACK LABEL

The back label takes the same shape as the front, but comes together as a whole shape. Regulatory information covers the back label without being too overwhelming. Size of bottle and alcohol percentage are seen enlarged to make it easier to find.
